Are you a seasoned grooming professional ready to take a different direction in your career? We are seeking a high-energy Manager to oversee operations at our thriving Hyde Park salon. This role is perfect for someone who balances technical grooming expertise with sharp administrative and leadership skills. 

The Role:

• Operational Leadership: Manage daily salon flow, coordinate multiple grooming schedules, and oversee the self-service wash area.
• Client Relations: Lead check-ins/outs and ensure professional customer communication.
• Team Support: Collaborate directly with our groomers and bathers to maintain a high-standard, safe, and clean environment. 
• Individual Contributor: Assist with bathing, nails and glands during peak hours, as needed.
• Full Time

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional dog grooming experience.
• Administrative Skills: Strong background in salon scheduling.
  • Solid organizational fundamentals and attention to detail
• Mindset: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. 
  • Outgoing, positive personality with top-tier customer service skills

We're on the hunt for an experienced dog bather or groomer who's ready to level up their career with a team that actually loves coming to work. This role is part-time and starts at around 15 hours per week with room to grow into full-time.

One important thing: We need someone who's done this before. Previous professional bathing/grooming experience is a must — no exceptions!

What You'll Actually Be Doing

🛁 Making Dogs Look & Feel Amazing:You'll be the one behind the magic — baths, blowouts, brush-outs, de-shedding, paw/pad trims.  You'll also be the one to spot anything off with a dog's skin, coat, or overall health and make sure their humans know about it.

🐶 Keeping Things Running Smoothly:You'll help our self-service customers learn the ropes of bath time, keep tubs sparkling clean for the next visitor, work the register and scheduling system, and share your grooming wisdom with pet parents who want to keep the magic going at home.

What We're Looking For

🎯 Experience: 2 years of professional dog bathing and junior grooming experience is preferred. You should know your breeds, your tools, and your techniques.

💪 Skills & Superpowers:

• Reliability is everything. We're a small crew, and when you're scheduled, we're counting on you.
• A calm, patient touch — especially with the nervous, wiggly, or "I've-never-had-a-bath-and-I'm-NOT-happy-about-it" dogs.
• An eye for detail that won't quit. Every pup leaves looking their absolute best.
• Genuine people skills — we're all about that 5-star experience for pets AND their humans.
• The strength to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet through a busy day.
• The ability to manage your own time, stay on schedule, and work independently.

💰 Starting at $15/hour + tips (which typically average $5–$7/hr depending on the level of awesome you bring). Pay increases are based on your performance, the experience you create, and showing up when you say you will.
