Lead Pet Stylist

Dog Grooming Salon Manager

Dog Grooming Salon Manager

Job Type:  Full-Time


Responsibilities:

  • Greet people with a smile and an authentic desire to create a positive experience.
  • Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.
  • Follow operational procedures that ensure exceptional service is provided.
  • Perform intake of dogs and discuss styling preferences with the customers.
  • Complete a full spectrum of grooming services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
  • Exhibit time management skills.

Qualifications:

  • A love of dogs.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality.
  • Minimum five years professional grooming experience. 
  • Capable of breed specific cuts.
  • A large percentage of the dogs in N. Boise are doodles. It will not be uncommon to have 2 - 3 doodles (of varying size), daily on your schedule. The desired applicant will be well versed in the variations of these mixed breeds, and enjoy grooming them.


Compensation:

This is a W-2 position with an attractive commission split. Please reach out for details.

Dog Grooming Salon Manager

Dog Grooming Salon Manager

Dog Grooming Salon Manager

Job Type:  30-40 hours per week


This position would be well suited for a retired dog groomer or someone that has dog grooming experience to effectively schedule appointments and explain pricing to customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Schedule grooming appointments.
  • Manage intake and outtake of scheduled grooming appointments.
  • Ensure grooming timelines are effectively managed and communicated to the customers.
  • Follow pricing guidelines to ensure accurate pricing for each groom.
  • Educate customers on home care routines.
  • Check-in self-service clients and provide education on best practices for dog bathing.
  • Handle cleaning tasks throughout the facility as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with managing dog grooming schedules.
  • A passion for animals, particularly dogs, and a willingness to provide exceptional service to pet owners.
  • Familiar with dog breeds and grooming durations based on size/breed.
  • Familiar with operating computers.
  • Experience using a Point of Sale system.
  • Friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
  • Reliable
  • Professional grooming or bathing experience a plus.

  • Tuesday - Saturday 9-4

Front Desk Shift Lead

Weekend Bath Attendant

 Job Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week)


Responsibilities:

  • Greet people with a smile and an authentic desire to create a positive experience.
  • Follow operational procedures that ensure exceptional service is provided.
  • Ensure safe dog handling
  • Answer phone calls
  • Learn and operate the POS (point-of sale) system
  • Check-in customers and book appointments
  • Provide guidance to employee bath attendants
  • Assist in bath attendant duties
  • Educate self-service customers on proper bathing and drying techniques

Qualifications:

  • A love of dogs
  • Safe dog handling experience.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience using a point-of-sale system
  • One year of management experience a plus
  • Experience trimming dog nails is a plus
  • Reliable

Availability:

  • Must be available to work some weekday shifts, as well as a Saturday or Sunday shift.



Weekend Bath Attendant

Weekend Bath Attendant

Job Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours per week). 


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a friendly smile and assist them in getting started with the self-service dog wash.
  • Explain the bathing process and equipment usage to customers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bathing stations and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both pets and their owners.
  • Replenish supplies as needed (shampoos, towels, brushes, etc.) to ensure all bathing stations are fully stocked.
  • Handle cleaning tasks throughout the facility as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for animals, particularly dogs, and a willingness to provide exceptional service to pet owners. Prior employment involving dog handling is preferred.
  • Friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
  • Reliable

Availability:

  • Must be available to work Saturday and Sundays, 12-6.
